Testimony

This topic I thought was appropriate since it is the whole point of this blog. I want one...but what exactly is it..

Here is what I learned:

• A testimony is a convincing knowledge given by revelation to a person who humbly seeks the truth
• This convincing power is so great that there can be no doubt left in the mind
• My LIVING testimony will expand as I study, pray, and ponder the scriptures
• It begins with desire and a particle of faith
• Obedience to the truth I have received will keep my testimony alive
• I DO NOT DEPEND ON WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST...I DON'T TAKE THAT BLESSING OF A TESTIMONY FOR GRANTED AS A PERPETUAL ENTITLEMENT.
• Patience is key to building a testimony
• A testimony is the one thing that when you give it away you walk away with more than you had
• When your heart tells you what your mind does not understand
