We have so many voices coming at us and so much stimulation all around. Often times I can't remember what someone told me 10 minutes ago let alone months and years. So how come the witnesses we receive from the Spirit are so memorable?
"We can receive a sure testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ only by the power of the Holy Ghost. His communication to our spirit carries far more certainty than any communication we can receive through our natural senses." - True to the Faith
He speaks to us Spirit to spirit. That is how it can have such a strong impression on us. He speaks truth which rings true to our spirits. After following the promptings of the spirit we should always be filled with joy and peace. That is another way to help distinguish the Spirit from the million voices around us. By the fruit of its labors.
